Allergies and dietary requirements
We are pleased to cater to any specific dietary requirement or allergy, however giving us prior notice will help us to meet your requirements. Ideally at the time of booking and in advance of your visit.
Much of our menu is gluten free, but as with any medical condition, please make staff aware at the time you place your order.
We are in the heart of rural Northumberland therefore specialise in meat and game dishes, we have a short daily changing menu of around 8 to 9 main courses including one vegetarian main course option as a matter of course, which may or may not be vegan.
If you would like a vegan main course please inform us in advance and we will be happy to meet this requirement.
We do handle and prepare nuts in our kitchen.

Due to the constantly changing nature of booking availability, we accept bookings by telephone only. Please note we cannot accept email reservations.
Tables in excess of 6 persons will be asked to confirm final numbers 24 hours prior to the booking.
We do not ‘turn’ tables, therefore if you book for lunch or dinner the table will be available to you for that service, unless all we can offer is a table with a prior booking. If this is the case we will inform you at the time of booking what time the table is available until.
The exception to this is SUNDAY LUNCH service, when we will allocate you a table for a 2 hour time slot depending on the size of your party. If you would like your table for longer please let us know in advance and we will do our utmost to accommodate.
