We confirm we have complied with the government’s guidance on managing the risk of COVID-19.

During these unprecedented times we have made some changes in line with government guidelines, the measures listed below are not exhaustive but give an indication of the many steps we have taken to ensure the protection of our staff and customers.These measures will be under constant review and will be amended  as required subject to government advice.

*Please note before your visit, if you have any symptoms such as a new dry and continuous cough, a fever, or loss of sense of taste or smell, please follow the government guidelines, stay at home and request a test.

On arrival you will be greeted by our Front of House supervisor.If you arrive without a reservation we will ask you for a contact detail (a name and an email address or telephone number) which will be held securely on our on line booking system in line with government advice.

This information is being collected to assist the NHS Test and Trace service for tracing close recent contacts of anyone testing positive for coronavirus. It will be given to NHS Test and Trace on request in the event that it is required for contact tracing purposes.It will not be used for any other purpose.

 We have a designated entry and exit to the building to avoid congestion, please follow the signs as advised and please respect social distancing measures at all times whilst moving about the pub. 

Sanitiser stations are available throughout the building, please use on your arrival and throughout your visit.

We have reduced the number of tables inside, in line with government advice, tables and chairs will be fully sanitised between use.Due to reduced capacity we urge you to book ahead via our online facility as we cannot guarantee that there will be space at all times.

Tables will be completely clear to avoid any risk of contamination, full table service will be offered for food and for drinks.

We have switched to a laminated menu-these will be sanitised thoroughly between use.

We will be operating a ‘one in out out’ procedure for our toilet facilities, please be patient and use the sanitiser before entering and on exit.

Our staff have been fully trained in line with government advice and with respect to their Personal Risk Assessment, and have all completed a Covid awareness course.In addition, all staff will receive a wellbeing check prior to their return to work and will be temperature checked daily on arrival for work.

Our food service, handling and hygiene standards have always been excellent as audited by the Food standards Agency, in addition we have implemented an increased and stringent cleaning and disinfection regime on site to minimise risk.
